A System That Works for Every Family
Millions of Americans depend on the ACA for coverage they could not otherwise afford. Rolling it back would mean higher costs, more uninsured patients, and increased strain on hospitals across the country.
- 1Fully supports the Affordable Care Act. The ACA has extended coverage to tens of millions of Americans who previously had none. Dismantling it without a proven alternative would cause measurable, widespread harm.
- 2Guarantees coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. No American should be denied coverage or charged more because of a chronic illness, disability, or prior diagnosis.
- 3Ensures hospitals get paid for services by reducing the number of uninsured patients. When patients are uninsured, hospitals absorb those costs — which ultimately drives up prices for everyone else.
